Gonarellin is mainly used to diagnose hypothalamus-pituitary-gonad dysfunction and to treat amenorrhea and infertility caused by inadequate gonadotropin secretion and multiple follicular ovaries. Gonareline or its analogues, Bucharelin, Goserelin, Leuprorelin, Nafarilin and Triprelin, can also be used for contraception, cryptorchidism, malignant tumors (especially prostate cancer), delayed and early adolescence. It can also be used for endometriosis. Gonarellin is also used to promote ovulation in the treatment of infertility and primary ovarian insufficiency caused by hypothalamic amenorrhea, especially in patients ineffective with clomiphene. |
